UK fishing regulations vary by location and fish species. You typically need a rod license from the Environment Agency (for England and Wales) or Scottish Environment Protection Agency (for Scotland). Some waters require additional permits. Always check local regulations before fishing, practice catch-and-release when appropriate, and respect size limits and closed seasons.
